To be aware of Health and Safety requirements noting that all duties must be carried out to comply with current Health and Safety at Work legislation\. Prerequisites: Self motivated, enthusiastic, fit and capable of heavy work\. Able to work in all weather conditions and able to use powered machinery\. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Soil cultivation, digging and forking, mulching, watering, raking, edging, pruning of shrubs, seed sowing, bed preparation and planting\. + The use and maintenance of hand tools and basic light machinery\. + The use of cylinder and rotary mowers, strimmers, leaf blowers and hedge cutters\. + Plant and transplant flowers, shrubs and trees\. + Prune trees and hedges in ways that help the plants health, are safe and aesthetically pleasing\. + Maintain ornamental laws using machinery\. + To keep all garden areas, public areas, thoroughfares, car parks and footpaths clear and free from litter and any other debris at all times\. + Maintain the health of summer hanging baskets through regular watering and dead heading\. **EVERY JOB MAKES THE STAY\.** At Hilton, It Matters Where You Stay, but The Stay is only one side of the story\.
