As Assistant GC&E Manager, you will analyze market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n· Handling all events / groups details and complete planning for rooms events and groups
\n· Observing the team activities within the departments and communicate with the GC&E Sales Manager
\n· Gives out availability and rates for rooms and banquet events in line with targeted selling strategy for
\n· Handling site visits with potential or actual clients.
\n· Takeover group/event files according to suprevisor’s orders.
\n· Revise group contract /or issue contract addendum for the client and ensures the revised proforma invoice is sent on time
\n· Prepares the group file with all details.
\n· Communicating all event and group details with operational departments by leading weekly BEO meetings and hotel systems pro-actively. (Distributing BEO’s and Group Instruction Sheets)
\n· Managing group blocks, entering rooming lists to system.
\n· Conducting Pre-con meetings with organizers and all operation departments in the hotel
\n· Following up deposit payments as per contracted terms.
\n· Cooperation with finanace team in order Invoices to be issued with correct back up.
\n· Collecting feedback from client about experience and share with relative departments for developments/appriciations.
\n· Develop and maintain excellent product knowledge and use it to deliver the benefits of the product to the client
\n· To obtain full knowledge of Competitors products to understand the market place

\n· Inserting rooming lists + releasing GIS
\n· Site inspections of definite events / groups
\n· Applying for DTCM permits
\n· Collecting & follow up on deposits
\n· Final invoices & billing
\n· Commission invoices
\n· Applying Hhonors points
\n· Pre-con meetings with organizers
\n· Weekly BEO meetings with Ops teams
\n· BBOB activities when required
\n· Sales calls when required
\n· Finalize groups in-house and close pay master after group checkout
