The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing all housekeeping operations, ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury service are consistently upheld. This role is essential in maintaining the brand’s commitment to excellence and meeting Forbes standards at all times.
What will I be doing?
As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you will work closely with the Housekeeping team to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and luxury service. Your responsibilities will include performing the following tasks to the highest level of excellence:
\n\nAssisting the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining the highest cleanliness, service, and product quality standards for guest rooms, public areas, restrooms, offices, and meeting/conference rooms, in alignment with brand and company standards.\nPlanning, distributing, delegating, and overseeing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual work assignments.\nConducting inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.\nAssisting in department administration, including system management, inventory control, policy implementation, and active participation in team meetings.\nMonitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward.\nDrive the training of the new Team Members training and ensuring compliance with all company brand standards.\nMonitoring the proper usage of cleaning chemicals and supplies by providing thorough training, ensuring correct labeling, and adhering to all regulatory guidelines.\nGuiding Housekeeping Supervisors and Attendants in room cleaning and related tasks as needed.\nConsistently ensuring adherence to Forbes Standards in all aspects of the role.\nProvide day-to-day operational support to the Executive Housekeeper as needed.\nWhat are we looking for?

\n\nProven experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, with a strong background in luxury hospitality.\nIn-depth knowledge of the housekeeping industry and current trends.\nProficiency in computer programs, particularly Microsoft Office.\nExcellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.\nStrong commitment and passion for delivering high levels of customer service.\nEssential knowledge of Workplace Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards.\n\nIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
