Job Description
The Assistant Tax Analyst is responsible for preparing all US compliance related to foreign entities (e.g. Form 5471, 8858, etc.), working with outside service providers to comply with all local income tax reporting requirements, preparing ASC 740 documentation, assisting in tax audits and special projects as they pertain to income or other relevant taxes. Provide support for other areas of the tax department on an as needed basis. This position reports to the Manager – International Tax.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
Assist in managing compliance with tax accounting policies and procedures (including Sarbanes-Oxley)Prepare IRS forms related to foreign entitiesAssist in managing international compliancePrepare reconciliation of tax-related general ledger accountsAssist in the preparation of the income tax provisionPrepare provision-to-return work papersMonitor changes in local country legislation for provision impactsResearch tax laws to ensure complianceSupport annual documentation requirements for IRS CAP auditAssist in resolving international audits and issues with various tax authoritiesWhat Do You Need To Bring?
BA/BS Degree in Accounting1+ year of corporate tax experience in either public accounting or industry (international tax experience a plus)Knowledge of income tax conceptsStrong accounting and technology skillsThomson-Reuters One Source compliance experience a plusExcellent organizational skills to manage various tasks to meet all statutory compliance deadlinesExcellent written and oral communication skillsSkilled at documenting processes and procedures a plusAttitude of continuous improvement to question processes and outcomes for better ways of workingOur Company
