Assistant Investment Manager

What is the opportunity?

The team are looking for an Assistant Investment Manager to join them on a permanent basis to work in the agent/intermediary’s team. They are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable expert, with previous experience managing clients on behalf of intermediaries.

What will you do?

Support the Investment Manager(s) in production of portfolio proposals, reviews, responding to client queries and associated client administration.

Implement rebalancing and remodeling of client investment portfolios in conjunction with Investment Manager.

Attend client meetings with Investment Manager, prepare meeting documentation and PowerPoint presentations, review notes and action points from these meetings and implement accordingly.

Executes trades on instruction from Investment Manager where appropriate.

Complete all work according to procedures and standards.

Attend fund manager and management of listed PLC research meetings with Investment Manager and prepare summary notes for the internal use of the team of Investment Managers.

Support business development through correct application of client processes and procedures.

Assist team members as required and work effectively with colleagues.

Understand and comply with all CBI/regulatory regulations and principles applying to an investment management role.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Proven industry experience.

Working towards QFA qualification.

Nice-to-have

Ability to work on your own initiative to achieve required results.
