Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant IT Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Assistant IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the IT department's operations, ensuring smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure, and contributing to the organization's technological advancement.
Assist in managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systemsCollaborate with the IT Manager to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectivesOversee IT projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standardsProvide technical support and troubleshoot complex IT issues for staff and stakeholdersImplement and maintain IT security measures to protect the organization's data and systemsManage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services and equipmentConduct regular system audits and performance analyses to identify areas for improvementStay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutionsTrain and mentor junior IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and developmentAssist in creating and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and documentationParticipate in budget planning and resource allocation for IT initiativesEnsure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards#LI-MH1
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3-5 years of IT management experienceStrong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud computing platformsProven experience in project management and implementing IT solutionsExcellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skillsProficiency in IT security best practices and data protection measuresKnowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management principlesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesRelevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft) are a plus
