Baxter is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Business in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. As an Assistant Manager, Business, you will be responsible for territory business development, new customer identification, and the creation of strategies for the assigned territories. You will play a key role in identifying, validating, and recruiting distributors and retailers within the geography assigned. Building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners and ensuring quick and efficient product placement at retail outlets will be crucial to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to expand market reach for new products and enhance sales for existing products.

Collect information, review and interpret competitor's products and strategies, and provide timely market feedback on our products while maintaining high confidentiality

Implement promotional activities to enhance brand awareness, visibility, and capture market share

Provide product knowledge and information to channel partners and retailers

Explore the market, identify customers, and promote products through individual detailing, audio-visual presentations, and workshops

Monitor product availability at the distribution end and local distributor network, and improve product-wise sales using own resources

Coordinate with headquarters to ensure smooth business execution and cash flow

Requirements:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare industry

Demonstrated expertise in understanding business dynamics and proficiency in developing and implementing successful strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with channel partners and retailers

Ability to work independently and deliver flawless results in a fast-paced environment
