Assistant Manager, Communications

The Opportunity

As an Communications Assistant Manager, you will be primary responsible for developing and executing the internal communications and help with external communications as well as other ad-hoc tasks when being assigned. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure all internal and external communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s goals and values.

Responsibilities:

Craft engaging and factual content in English and Vietnamese, focusing on creative storytelling.

Plan, edit, and curate content for various communication channels like LinkedIn, Town halls, Events, and regular memos.

Draft impactful messages, talking points, and speeches for senior executives, in written or spoken form.

Ensure consistency in internal communications across departments, aligning with external communication messages.

Manage internal communication during crisis situations affecting organizational perception and reputation.

Collaborate with the Public Relations team and handle designated external communications.

Liaise with regional or global offices on corporate communication matters as necessary.

Measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives and adjust strategies as needed

Handle admin tasks, payments, and other adhoc projects when being assigned

Personal Attributes and Culture Fit:

Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and translating skills in both English and Vietnamese.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to cultivate and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

Strong project management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently with keen attention to detail.

Proficiency in technology and tools for internal communication, including email marketing software, intranet platforms, Microsoft Teams, and social media.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

What we are looking for:

Minimum 5 years of experience in cross-departmental communications management.

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.

Fluency in English is mandatory.
