Assistant Manager is responsible for helping to manage Team Member engagement through the Community Outreach Committee and Ryan Mosaic initiatives in India and Philippines and Ryan’s Global internal annual awards program. The Assistant Manager will liaise with these global programs, including facilitating initiatives and reporting of key metrics. Incumbent must be able to provide outstanding, timely support in a fast-paced environment, while representing the Firm in a professional manner. Daily tasks will be demanding and varied, requiring the ability to deal with ambiguity and to change priorities efficiently and calmly.Duties and Responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results
People:
Works with committees and stakeholder to develop and grow Corporate Citizenship programs in partnership with the Mosaic council, People Inclusive Network, Community Outreach Committee, and various stakeholders in Ryan India and Philippines.Assists with regular communications about Corporate Citizenship and Community Outreach initiatives, including use of RyanSHARES site.Supports internal committees, including training, to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.Works with committees and colleagues throughout the Firm to obtain required data and information necessary for tracking and reporting.Monitors budget and metrics around Corporate Citizenship Initiatives. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels, vendors, media, and other internal departments.Client:
Works with the Manager, Community Outreach to support internal client focused initiatives.Skilled in navigating difficult discussions with tact and sensitivity.Value:
Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and orally, including digital conferencing and stand-up presentation skills.Understands and communicates internal and external impact of government-required Community Outreach budget.Works to integrate as appropriate, and communicate Ryan India’s payroll deduction giving program and Ryan Foundation match within the larger RyanSHARES system.Explores integration and management of Payroll Deduction programs for other international locations.Maintains relevant reports and spreadsheets to accurately reflect activity and status of all major initiatives.Supports Mosaic Council to ensure a broad base of input to Ryan DEI strategy.Works with People Inclusive Network to support initiatives of interest to the committee – including budget development and tracking.Works closely with Marketing on design of advertising, press releases, and internal and external posting of Ryan Mosiac Initiatives, Community Outreach projects.Assists with other projects, as needed.Performs other duties, as assigned.Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field experience of 4 years and 8 years of experience in total.Strong consultative skills with the ability to partner with senior managers and professionals, to understand needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceedneeds and expectations.Focused, proactive, positive, and driven.Thrives on achieving results and working toward break-through goals in a complex, ambiguous, and challenging environment.Demonstrated relationship and influencing skills that will be effective in a complex, rapidly moving organization.Strong relationship management skills: a skillful team player with the ability to network effectively throughout the Firm.Excellent communication skills and articulate, possessing both credibility and integrity.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. In addition, this position requires experience with an Applicant Tracking System and a Human Resources Management System HRMS, previous Workday experience desired.Work Environment:
Standard indoor working environment, with limited local travel and indoor and outdoor event management for volunteer events.Occasional long periods of standing while attending volunteer events.Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm and interface with external vendors as necessary.In office at least 3 days/weekHierarchy of Terms
