Get to Know the Team

The Driver Engagement team is an important part of the Driver Operations group within the broader Operations division, which handles end-to-end driver partner quality experiences and merchant partner back-end operations. The team also addresses Safety & Fraud activities. Our team supports all of Grab's business verticals and operations in the Philippines, focusing on all driver-related aspects of our platform. We help shape our strategic direction by providing top management with insights and management of driver partners.

 

Get to Know the Role

As the Assistant Manager, Driver Engagement, you'll lead the driver-partner community for all fleet types, including existing ones (2W, Bike) and new ones (e.g., Taxi, Rent, and Shuttle). You will manage driver-partner welfare, travel to various locations to engage with driver groups or third parties, and initiate projects to build strong relationships with driver-partner leaders and communities. You will analyze data to create strategic actions to enhance the growth of the driver-partner community.

You will report directly to the Manager, Driver Engagement. This is a hybrid role, where you will need to travel to our Cebu office.

 

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

Develop and manage driver-partner community programs for all fleet types, ensuring their welfare and engagement.Travel to different locations to engage with driver-partner groups or third parties involved in the community.Initiate and manage projects to build and maintain strong relationships with driver-partner leaders and communities.Report on driver-partner activities, monitor industry trends, and analyze market changes affecting the driver community.Collaborate on plans to implement strategies, analyze business proposals, and support projects to enhance driver partner engagement.Work with multiple departments to align operations goals with driver-partner motivations.Join conversations in driver-partner community chat groups and facilitate forums/meetings.Act as the voice and mediator of Grab in the driver-partner communities.Translate data and insights into relevant driver engagement strategies and communicate these needs to partners.Actively participate in community engagement activities and provide support.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You will Need

5+ years experience in roles focused on Community Engagement, Relationship Management, or similar.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline. Degrees in Data Analytics or Public Relations are also acceptable.Experience in process improvement and documentation.Experience with social missions and making a positive impact in emerging markets.PMP certification and/or Data Analytics certifications (e.g., Google Data Analytics, IBM Data Analyst) are considered.Proficiency in regional languages (e.g., Cebuano, Ilocano) is an advantage.Strong skills in engaging with stakeholders and working effectively in teams.
