About the Role
- This role will be primarily responsible for overall finance insurance operations.- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to support the operation efficiency and to identify improvement areas within Finance Operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the insurance finance operations team to deliver policies related functions and treasury activities on time.Review the general ledger transactions and ensure account balances relating to finance insurance operation are accurately accounted as per group standards and timeline.Resolve any issues/ operational errors and identify mitigation plans and controlling relating to policy-related payments and treasury activities by communicating effectively and negotiating with partner banks and cross functional team.Analyze premium collections, transaction costs and claim expenses by closely working with operation team and actuary team.Promote continuous improvement by proactively identifying service improvement opportunities and drive projects in process and service optimization and system transformation (including leading UAT)Highlights improvement opportunities on specific processes and accounts ,and proactively partnering with insurance operations, IT and general accounting team in existing products enhancements and new products implementation projects.Understand AIA’s insurance product features , terms and benefit payments to ensure accounting set-up are correctly flow into the system.Couching and driving the finance operation team for continuous improvement in terms of operational efficiencies and capabilities.Perform ad-hoc assignments.Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or CPA or ACCA part II or III pursuing.Minimum 5 years of working experiences, preferable in team lead/ supervisory role.Hands on experience of Accounting Software or ERP/SAP knowledge, excellent PC skills.Familiar with systems automation driven working environment and proven experience in system implementation and projects roll out.Solid demonstrated communication skills/stakeholders engagement and strong an business analytics and problem solving abilities.Risk control mindset and proactively apply understanding of internal policies.High degree of data accuracy, attention to detail and ability to multi-task and balance multiple requests working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.Strong initiative to follow up on outstanding issues, identify what needs to be done and act accordingly.Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
