About the Role
- This position is responsible for on time submission of management accounting , statutory and regulatory reporting.- To ensure on-time tax filings and tax reporting and liaise with tax officers to deliver tax planning and maximize tax benefit utilization.
- To conduct as Internal Controls over Financial Reporting Champion to ensure reliability and integrity of financial reporting and support the controls owners by engaging proactively with Finance stakeholders to increase reliability and integrity of financial reporting.
- To deliver successful finance system support regarding with finance systems users' access certification, and data maintenance.
- Perform group and BAU transformation initiatives/projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Performs periodic financial closing such as management reports, statutory audit report and provides analytical insights.
Prepare the FRD and other regulatory related reports demanded by the regulators and government authorities and agencies in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage in-house corporate tax administration and review the tax filings that are prepared by the service provider.
Support the execution of the internal controls testing over financial reporting (FCSA, FSs etc) to assist the CEO/CFO certification of said controls through coordination with various control owners across the organization.
Review quarterly BSR results and work together with respective account owners to ensure the unreconciled balance has been resolved within the prescribed timelines.
Lead the finance systems enhancements/ group projects and support cross-functional initiatives and/or ad hoc reporting, as required.
Liaise and interact with external auditors, tax officers and regulators, where applicable.
Maintain proper documentation of accounting memos and the control testing results including source of information, necessary
Minimum Job Requirements:
More than 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and controls is a must.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or ACCA part II or III pursuing.
Excellent understanding of IFRS and accounting Software or ERP/SAP knowledge, and familiar with a fast paced, systems automation and a deadline driven working environment.
Excellent technical and analytical skills with high degree of data accuracy and attention to detail.
Solid demonstrated communication skills/stakeholders engagement and ability to thrive in a high performing culture; open to, and comfortable with constantly evolving and changing priorities and new challenges
Self-motivated, proactively taking ownership and responsibility
Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and external contacts
