POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Manager, Gaming Technical Services is responsible for assisting the Manager & above, Gaming Technical Services in all areas of technical operations including preventative maintenance, repairs, conversions, installation and upgrades to all Gaming Machines and other gaming equipment.

The Assistant Manager, Gaming Technical Services is responsible for the development of a positive staff culture that reflects company objectives and the management of staff issues such as counselling, disciplinary action and effective implementation of the Performance Management System.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop a culture that promotes and maintains a high level of morale amongst the team, and develops positive working relationships with all related departmentsBuild an environment where staff have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally, fostering a harmonious workplace and ensuring that they be recognised for their consistent contribution towards attaining departmental and company goalsTreat all staff with respect and fairly. Ensure absenteeism and staff turnover are maintained at a reasonable level. Effectively manage staff counselling and disciplinary action in accordance with Policies & Procedures and departmental Performance Standards.Ensure completion of Performance Management processesActively manage staff to ensure a high standard of service is delivered in line with departmental Service StandardsPromote the importance of positive customer relationsEnsure a safe and clean environment for customersDeliver a quality customer experience, in a welcoming and entertaining environment, providing value and always conducted with integrityMaximise the productivity of technicians and other contractors ensuring that all repairs configurations/installations and maintenance are completed in a timely manner with minimal down time and disruptionAssist on maintaining the slot accounting database and related system configurations in addition to overseeing the administration of Electronic Gaming Machines, spare parts and other gaming equipment include tables games equipmentAssist on develop and oversee systems and processes for maintaining the integrity of the systems and applications as well as all machines functioning, including verification of configurations and EPROM testingAssist on develop extensive PM programs for all casino related GM & TG equipment and systems, including shufflers, Angel Eyes, Chippers, in addition to inventory systemDevelop a sound working relationship to enhance dealings with manufacturers/external suppliers ensuring maximum serviceInspect and test new software, hardware and Gaming Machines. Report new faults and other relevant information to manufacturers as requiredProvide guidance and technical training to the team member whenever is requireProvide translation on Technical Specification.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.The Team Member will be required to meet all appearance guidelines while on duty.These physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Will be exposed to electrical and other hazards. QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

4 Years in a Supervisory or Management Role in gaming environment (Tech/Ops)Experience in a CasinoExtensive exposure to technical operationsExtensive system experience essentialSound command of English in both oral and written formsCantonese and/or Mandarin an advantage

Education

Tertiary qualification or trade certificate in electronics preferred.
