Job Description
The DTC Email Assistant Manager will own the daily operations and QA processes for email and SMS channels. This role will optimize email and SMS campaign performance, share learnings and takeaways with key partners, plan regular A/B tests, and ensure all marketing communications are deployed properly. Role will partner closely with the DTC team to ensure email and SMS channels are meeting weekly revenue expectations and delivering up into sales objectives.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Manages the day-to-day email and SMS calendar – drives planning and scheduling with the aim of ensuring that communications are aligned with key brand messages and weekly revenue goals Set email strategy based on company and business goals. Manage email marketing cadence, segmentation, QA, and deployment Coordinate and execute development, design, and creation of email and SMS creative. Ensure CRM campaigns are relevant and aligned with other areas of the business Partners with manager on setting the email channel strategy and roadmap, laddering up to overall company goals Writes and submits email and SMS briefs, outlining goal/purpose of each email for the creative and copy teams to use as a guide for what to design into Drives daily email segmentation strategy and finds opportunities to increase segmentation, personalization and dynamic content in email and SMS communications Plans and manages a robust A/B test calendar, tracking performance and sharing out results/recommendations to wider teams (digital, brand, creative, IMC) Reports on campaign performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, sharing out findings and insights with the wider team
Requirements
2+ years of related experience in email and SMS marketing A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or experience working with consumer brands Experience working with ESP platforms. Knowledge of Klaviyo and Wunderkind a plus Experience with personalization platforms such as Movable Ink a plus Experience working with internal and external partners across multiple disciplines Experience with Google Analytics and has strong excel and reporting skills Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills Superior attention to detail, time management, and follow-through Self-starter with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment Strong project management abilities (Basecamp, Asana a plus). Highly organized and proven ability to execute projects on time and on budget Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is detail-oriented# LI-AH1 #LI-Hybrid
The base pay range for this position is $80,000 and $95,000/year; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation.
This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance.

Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Vacation will depend on role.
