About the Role

Responsible for handling information technology infrastructure as well as applications and software within AIA and providing technical support to internal users

Plan, design, configure, maintain, and fix a coordinated communications solution using Microsoft Teams.

Drives the Teams Voice product portfolio strategy and long-term product roadmaps using resources in the Architecture and Experience team, engineers, operations, and vendor experts.

Provides domain expertise in Microsoft Teams Phone with Calling Plans, Direct Handle Routing, and Operator Connect, in addition to Microsoft Teams devices, audio/video conferencing, and voice migration.

Collaborate with telephony providers and third-party vendors to enable the newest voice features in Microsoft Teams.

Able to plan, deploy, configure, and secure Teams chat, apps, channels, meetings, audio/video conferencing, live events, calling, and Microsoft Teams-certified devices.

To build or validate inter-relationships between PBX users in same or different sites and to craft corresponding MS Teams features and dependencies

Deliver outstanding value by working together solving user issues, problems, providing proactive support advice, giving to product quality and improvements and crafting self-help assets to broadly reach more customers.

Coordinate with Service Desk and L2/L3 support teams around the globe for issue resolution.

Understand and apply knowledge of Company environment in order to deliver solutions that meet the needs of the business.

Acts as the focal point of contact for incidents, problems and changes to the Microsoft Teams Telephony services.

Works with Functional Lead to develop, design, implement and maintain Microsoft Teams services strategies, policies, business plans, innovations roadmap, processes, frameworks and standards that are fit for purpose considering the interests of the AIA Business Units.

Build and maintain detailed documentation of Microsoft Teams infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

Actively participate in operational ITIL processes

Minimum Job Requirements:

Must always have ability to work in a fast pace environment demonstrating autonomy in conforming to strategic intent while adhering to team values.

A total of 8+ years of relevant IT experience (End user service management, Unified Communication & Collaboration, Teams Telephony)

Experience in Microsoft Team Voice integration and design of complicated Enterprise Voice Solutions

Reliable background for engineering and architectural design of Unified Communications with a focus on Microsoft Teams and Teams PSTN configurations.

Knowledge about various PBXs including but not limited to Avaya, Cisco, Session Border Controllers & Media Gateways SIP trunks (Centralized, Local)

Deep understanding of MS Teams core services, features, and feature management

Robust domain knowledge in unified communications MS Skype for Business and MS Teams

Reasonable knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, H323, MGCP, RTP, Codecs knowledge and trouble-shoot experience

Experience producing business relevant presentations and technical oriented writing is required.

Excellent communications and interpersonal and presentation.

Shown project leadership experience.

Degree holder in IT / Computer Science or related field.
