The Assistant Manager, Network will work as a part of operations team to perform project implementation and daily operations support of the company’s enterprise data network. He / she will perform general configuration management, SW upgrades, optimization of all enterprise network systems, integration and problem isolation/troubleshooting of large-scale global enterprise data networks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists in managing daily network support operations in multiple facilities
2. Assists in developing network policies and standard operation procedures for 7x24 support operations
3. Assists in managing vendor contracts and deliverables
4. Provides guidance on troubleshooting and configuration management of large-scale networks
5. Assists in architecture and design of enterprise networks
6. Assists in planning, design and implementation of new/expansion projects
7. Provides training and coaching to the team members
QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
1. 5+ years of relevant enterprise IT network experience
2. In-depth knowledge and experience in computer/network security, network vulnerability, and network risk management, network security software, IP addressing schemes, penetration testing
3. In-depth experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies
4. Hands-on experiences on Cisco VLAN, Firewall, EIGRP, OSPF, VPN, port security, wireless controllers, and redundant setup
5. Experience in structure cabling system with CAT and fibre cables
6. Exposure to Network or Command Centre operations
II. Education
1. Possesses diploma academic or relevant professional qualifications
2. Preferably with CCNA/CCNP certification
III. Skills / Competencies
1. Excellent troubleshooting skills, fast technology learner and ability to independently perform tasks
2. Ability to troubleshoot network problems with minimal supervision
3. Able to work under pressure
