At Grab, we are driving the next phase of growth by enhancing omnichannel commerce solutions such as Dine-Out Deals, Scan to Order (STO), Reservation, and many more exciting new products. This commercial role plays a crucial part in ensuring a seamless merchant experience across both online and offline touchpoints.
Get to Know the Role
You will report to the Manager, Omnicommerce Commercial and as a member of the GrabFood Commercial Malaysia team, you will oversee the Merchant Acquisition & Account Management Team, ensuring performance excellence and onboarding crucial merchants into omnicommerce solutions. You will also promote the use of products such as Dine-Out Deals, STO, and Reservations with high value partners. Your role involves collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams to enhance merchant offerings, while focusing on operational efficiency to ensure seamless transitions for merchants adopting Grab’s solutions.
You will work in Petaling Jaya, work onsite and may require to travel to outer cities.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
The Omnichannel Commerce Assistant Manager will be responsible for:
You will manage Merchant Acquisition & Account Management Team: Oversee the Merchant Acquisition & Account Management Team, ensuring performance achievementYou will increase Product Adoption & Optimization: Driving the use of Dine-Out Deals, STO, ReservationYou will acquire and manage high value partners: Focus on acquiring curial partners by securing strategic deals, facilitating their onboarding, increase growth and expansionYou will focus on Data-Driven Growth Strategies: Using analytics to improve merchant acquisition and account management .You will build Inter-department Collaboration: Working with sales, marketing, and product teams to enhance merchant offerings by providing valuable feedback and ideas.You will manage data Management and Verification: Proficient in excel for consolidating data and using formulas to ensure data accuracy and integrity.QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need
5+ years of working experience in account management or sales background.Bachelor's degree or higher, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceExpertise in driving business growth and nurturing relationships with executive partnersExperience with communication engagements and presentations, with the ability to engage and connect with partners across all levelsCollaborative mindset, succeeding in a dynamic, changing and interconnected workplaceIdentify complex business challenges and develop data-driven solutions that align with organizational goals.Expertise to inform and guide strategic decisions based on data-driven insightsExperience in team management is valuedProject management expertise to concurrently balance tasks and deadlines without compromising qualityExperience achieving quarterly targetsProficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Knowledge of Mandarin or other languages is a bonus!)Proficiency in using excel formulas for data consolidation and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability
