Assistant Manager, Public Relations

About the role: 

The Communications team is responsible for telling the Grab story around the world. Whether it's speaking to media and online influencers, industry commentators, thought leaders, or the wider community, the Communications team is the voice of Grab.  The Public Relations Asst Manager in the Philippines is a self-motivated and creative individual who will lead proactive public relations campaigns to promote and protect Grab’s brand and reputation in the Philippines. The goal is to reinforce Grab’s position as the leading everyday super app in the Philippines and make Grab a relatable brand to our customers.  

Responsibility: 

Create, implement, and manage public relations programmes that are in line with the company’s vision and business objectives Proactively promote stories and pursue publicity opportunities that are advantageous to Grab Manage our media and influencer advocacy programme Create multi-format content for all stakeholders (executives, media, influencers) Manage and pre-empt issues and crises Build and maintain strong working relationships with Grab business stakeholders and management, and manage their profiling Manage the PR agency according to budget and business requirements Analyse metrics to determine the output and value of PR results and use the data as a critical planning tool 

QualificationsBachelor’s degree  About 8+ years experience in public relations; both corporate and consumer PR experience preferred Experience working in a regional and integrated marketing team advantageous Experience working in a high-growth company and fast-paced environment advantageousA creative and collaborative self-starter who can work independently, hands-on team player and self-motivated Creative thinking and inherent drive and curiosity to push new angles and ideas
