POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Assistant Manager, Resorts & Loyalty Marketing is responsible for managing the daily operations of the loyalty club, executing gaming promotion activities as well as managing the Senior Host, Resorts Loyalty & Marketing and Host, Resorts Loyalty & Marketing schedules and duties as well as assisting the Manager on policy and procedure development.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:    

1.    Ensure the works of subordinates are in accordance with the established policies and procedures.
2.    Ensures all operations of the Melco club are in accordance with departmental rules, polices and regulations as outlined in the operational manual.
3.    Monitor the service rendered by the Senior Host/Host to ensure it is maintained at high standard and continually shows leadership through example.
4.    Provides coaching and motivation to the Senior Host/Host ensuring the maintenance of high levels of staff morale.
5.    Handles customers’ complaints and complex situations effectively and professionally.
6.    Prepares reports required by the Management.
7.    Works with various departments on any matter related to membership services.
8.    Manages the manpower and processes of casino promotional activities execution.
9.    Recommend and/or execute management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign, or discipline employees.
10.     Always maintains strict confidentiality of customer information.


QUALIFICATIONS:

I.    Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Supervisory role within the Gaming, Hospitality or related industry is preferred.


II.    Education 

Degree holder or higher in Marketing major is preferred.


III.    Skills / Competencies 

1.    Effective communication skills
2.    Fluent in spoken & written English, knowledge of other languages is advantageous
3.    Proficient in PC knowledge (MS Office)


IV.    Others

1.    Strong leadership skills, encourage people to work as a team and approachable
2.    Attention to detail
3.    Willing to work on shift 
4.    Work independently and self-motivated
5.    To be flexible and accordingly as this position may require extra hours out of normal work hours
