POSITION SUMMARY:
The IR/EP Assistant Manager has the responsibility to manage response to mitigate or limit any activities that are causing harm or potentially endangering property operations or the wellbeing of the employees and guests of COD Mediterranean. The Team’s services are essential to ensure the protection of high-profile guests, celebrities, Government officers and any other noteworthy individuals requiring critical protective services. The IR/EP Assistant Manager will be responsible for monitoring, responding and managing Casino floor incidents which have the potential to escalate into serious conflict. After the fact the Assistant Manager IR/EP is responsible for the review of the performance of these interactions and ensure process and training is adequate. The IR/EP Assistant Manager will oversee the first responder role and review the team’s ability to triage, prepare and guide in medical related incidents and emergencies. During these incidents the Assistant Manager will be responsible to liaise and report such incidents to Senior Management. The IR/EP Assistant Manager is accountable to follow the established Global EP program in Cyprus and assist the Chairman & CEO, and/or other C-suite Executives in EU region and globally as required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist on implementing the business plan as provided by the Director, Security through a wide variety of servicesMotivates and leads Security personnel through the provision of high standards of Management and leadershipManagement of staff performance to ensure competence, performance and succession objectives are met. This includes:Recognizes and resolves performance issues Conducts performance reviews in accordance with company’s Performance Management SystemRecognizes and addresses staff absenteeism issuesManages customer service quality and ensures company’s standards are maintained at all timesSupport and manages all emergency incidences and assumes the role of Primary Emergency CoordinatorManages Shift briefings & provides operational briefings as required, and conducts de-briefs in relation to serious incidents and assisted removalsProvides post events reports to Senior ManagementRespond to casino floor incidents and take the lead in conflict resolution and minimizing business impactFollow the established Global EP program in Cyprus and assist in EU region advance planning operations and movements.Conduct threat assessments and risk analysis in order to develop and implement customized security plans for VIP guests and individuals who require close protection, considering their unique needs and potential risks.Maintain detailed records of all VIP protection activities, including risk assessments, security plans, and incident reports.Development and review of the team’s protective intelligence reports through the collection of open-source, industry contacts and Government source intelligence and feed to Senior Management to assist in assessing risks, security vulnerabilities and threats against Melco Cyprus and its Senior Executives.Adhere to set of strict standards regarding the access of proprietary information and treating sensitive intelligence as strictly confidential.Utilize advanced surveillance technology to enhance the safety and security of protected individuals.Establish communication protocols with law enforcement and emergency services to respond swiftly to critical incidents involving VIPs.Provide comprehensive post-event debriefings to identify areas for improvement and enhance future VIP protection efforts.Review the performance of the first responder role and make appropriate changes and provide training to enhance performance.Be the first contact point with emergency services responders in the absent of Manager.Be the designated and responsible person for all Events throughout our properties.Performs other duties as directed in accordance with all Policies and Procedures, laws and regulations, applicable to the Department and the propertyUndertakes tasks as required by the Senior ManagementAdheres to all company policies and proceduresAdheres to all company’s policies and department’s standard operating proceduresKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Security OperationsProven experience in Executive Protection or Close ProtectionEducation
High School GraduateDiploma or bachelor’s degree in Security ManagementSkills / Competencies
