POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Manager, Steward is responsible for assisting the Manager, Steward for delivering on the Company vision, standards and objectives through a strategic approach to managing a business operation that focuses on developing business strategy, entrepreneurism and innovation, high team involvement and creating best practice.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Manager, Stewarding to control expense in OS&E, OPEX, Cleaning Chemical/tools
Responsible for the management and delivery of day to day stewarding services and kitchen inventory control
Manage and maintain all outlets inventory and equipment including storage, purchasing, supply, tracking and stock take of all chinaware, glassware, flatware and equipment for events
Maintain & archive the highest standard of hygiene standard HACCP
Maintain safety of the workplace and facilities
Direct and manage the finance and administration functions of steward operations and services by maximizing
Ensure that the Company policies and procedures are strictly adhered to by all Steward employees
Experience
Proven management capability and business acumen in kitchen, stewarding operations and leading teams
Extensive experience in Stewarding/Kitchen operations within a five star service environment
Minimum 3-5years experience in Steward Supervisor position
Skills/Competencies
Good command in both written and spoken English and Cantonese or Mandarin
Computer literate in Microsoft Office software (e.g. Outlook, Work, Excel etc.)
Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis
