POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Steward Manager will support the Stewarding Manager in overseeing the dishwashing, cleaning, and kitchen maintenance staff, helping to ensure that the kitchen is kept clean, sanitary, and well-stocked.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and assist the stewarding team in maintaining cleanliness and organization.Oversee inventory management for kitchen cleaning supplies and dishware.Ensure all hygiene and safety standards are met in the kitchen and service areas.Support training and development of stewarding staff.Assist with waste management, recycling initiatives, and overall kitchen cleanliness.KEY PERMORMANCE INDICATORS:
Breakage percentage within indications given by managementAccurate inventory controlHygiene standards are metStaff retention and developmentQUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in kitchen or stewarding management roles.Knowledge of sanitation regulations and cleanliness standards.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.PERPERSONAL COMPETENCIES:
