Assistant Manager – Maintenance
**Job Summary:** The Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible to assist head maintenance in day-to-day responsibilities by ensuring preventive, planned & breakdown maintenance of machines & equipment. You will ensure maximum utilization of resources, increase machine availability time. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Monitor, breakdown and preventive maintenance of all conventional & CNC machines, material handling Equipment, office building lighting and other machines + Identify / maintain records of spares need / consumed spares for machines & equipment + Supervise plant maintenance personnel. Communicate regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues. + Direct, maintain, and enforce the safety program for the maintenance department to maintain safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures and prepare safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance Dept. + Initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on standard methodologies in the engineering and manufacturing industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance. + To implement Energy conservation program for energy savings + To prepare the monthly breakdown analysis as per the breakdown hours & finding the trend to take further action to improve the work. + To procure maintenance spares at right price by negotiating with suppliers. + To support and guide all maintenance technician for carryout the maintenance activity + To update on the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to find opportunities for improvement. + To prepare reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems. + Coordinates activities with Production Departments. + To draft ISO, OHSAS related Procedure for maintenance & maintained all records as per system requirement. Facing the audit for maintenance along with section head. + To supervise and ensure the implementation of all legal compliance related with Electrical installation + Reduced the maintenance cost by implementing standard practices in maintenance **Who You Are:** You promote high visibility of shared contributions to goals. You handle the risk that comes with moving forward when the outcome is not certain. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Knowledge of Machineries & Equipment used in Engineering Company, CNC System (Fanuc & Siemens) and ERP systems such as Baan LN + Knowledge of Best practices in Maintenance in engineering Industry and Hydraulic and Pneumatic system, ISO & OSHAS System + Experience in handling of maintenance team and Statutory requirements in Industries + Experience in Spares Management, Project execution and Total efficiency maintenance + Proficient in CNC interfacing, electrical circuit design and PLC programming **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** + Diploma Electrical with10 -15 years of experience or BE Electrical with 8 -10 years of experience in industry with the ability to solve problems on CNC machine / Conventional Machines, equipment and utility.
