Assistant Manager

Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager-Payroll Analyst
In this role, you will work with the payroll team to ensure that all employees get their paycheck delivered accurately and on time. Your knowledge and experience with payroll taxes and deductions are vital to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities

• Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc.
• Manage tax and withholding records and deductions for all federal, state, local or other corporate taxes that affect payroll amounts
• Partner with HR team members to coordinate employee compensation updates, new hires, separations, data change and approvals
• Set up each individual new hire with all the necessary forms, including direct deposit requests, wage verifications, I-9 information, 401k benefits calculations and W-4 reports
• Perform the daily configuration support of the Payroll and Time Tracking modules (Kronos) in Workday
• Assess and resolves payroll-related requests within established guidelines
• Serves as a payroll liaison when working with cross-functional business teams to translate complex business needs to effective design recommendations, system analysis, system configuration
• Data entry and verification to ensure compliance and data accuracy. Review net variances from previous month and reconcile payroll. Performing account balance and payroll reconciliation
• Process approved sales commission and bonus compensation and other variables monthly
• Preparing and distributing income statements
• Preparing financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes
• Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by management
• Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions

Minimum Qualifications

• Good years of global payroll processing and validating data
• Hands on experience in processing US Payroll
• Working knowledge of US labor law
• Workday Basics
• Strong MS office and reconciliation skills is required
• Good working experience with global stakeholders


Preferred Qualification

• Any Certification related to Payroll is preferred
• Payroll Specialist
• Work effectively on multiple projects concurrently, when necessary
• Strong Workday functional knowledge and project management skills
• Effective probing skills and analyzing / understanding skills
• Problem solving skills with customer centric approach Demonstrated proficiency with written English and with neutral English accent.
