In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.
Process Overview*
Global Finance was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support & Regulatory reporting. Over the years, the scope of Global Finance has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.
CFO Change Automation team, which is part of CFO COO group is involved in involved in various analytics, automation and reporting & governance needs that helps the CFO group analyze and address key challenges & provide relevant solutions using ET or any other relevant technologies. The team provides deep dive analysis by deploying analytics and data mining tools like SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Workiva etc. as well as is involved in setting up automated solutions for complex BAU processes.
Job Description*
Team has newly open position for an automation analyst to drive CFO's execution and governance of automation projects and to help drive CFO Strategic Vision around new technologies, change, and improving the organization to support Responsible Growth.
Responsibilities*
Demonstrate an eagerness to leverage technology, old and new, identify and solve problems, improve processes, and re-align resources Reduce manual work and implement productivity tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, R, PythonBuild credibility and trust with business partners to unveil complexities and nuances of the business and its processes Support the group to drive the strategic/tactical direction on information technology and client/business area issues to help design solutions to meet current and anticipated business requirements and objectivesDeliver automated solutions projects which lead to more efficiency and/or expense saveOn a daily basis, tasks may include:
Coordinates gathering input/feedback from business SMEs Automate Processes and deliver complex medium sized projectsPartners with the GBAM CFO business and/or process owners to: Understand current state Identify improvement opportunities and risk Provide insight into potential solutions Produce pilot and rollout plans, including support of business training expansion and adoption activities Keep abreast of emerging technology trends and contribute to forward looking practicesRequirements*
Education* Degree in Computer Science or related fields and experience in Finance are highly desirable
