To achieve our vision for Global Learning Services, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager who will support learning initiatives by bringing key skills in GxP learning management, content development, and experience in leading multiple phases of project life cycles.

AccountabilitiesGxP Computer System administration, support issue point, and maintenanceGxP Computerized System Request Management and technical investigationCreating SOPs, Guidance Documents, and Work InstructionsPartnering with QA on managing GxP enterprise applications throughout all phases of the system development lifecycleServing as an Information Systems SME and Project CoordinatorSupporting account management, routine user access reviews, and release management for GxP regulated systemsInterfacing with system business owners of GxP systems and providing technical supportCollaborating with vendor support for maintenance & operation of GxP systemsStaying ahead of with US and international regulations, industry standards, and emerging topics related to GxP, GCP, and GMPPreparing, reviewing, and approving GxP Computerized Systems Validation lifecycle documents as an IT SMEUnderstanding, analyzing, and documenting GxP/GMP frameworksDocumenting defined processes and strategiesFacilitating communication between collaborators, learning partners, and Learning Services teamsBuilding relationships with partners throughout the project lifecycleEmphasizing continuous process improvements and service deliveryForecasting and coordinating with Learning Services teams and BusinessLeading projects from requirements definition through deploymentEnsuring projects adhere to scope, schedule, and risk management processesSetting up GxP Governance visibility for Learning Partners & Business through business review meetingsSupporting the definition of Standard Operating Procedures related to end-to-end processesVersioning and updating processes, procedures, and policy documentsScheduling the expiration of courses and assets as appropriateWorking with senior management to ensure completed projects meet users’ expectationsDefining processes, workflows, effective content production, and implementation of up-to-date development and LMS technologiesSupporting and maintaining the global knowledge base for standard process documents, key tools, and templatesOnboarding new hires to their role and ensuring timely readinessManaging a team of 8 to 10 membersProviding coaching/mentoring and performance development for team membersEssential Skills/ExperienceBachelor’s Degree preferred (Academia: Computer science, Engineering, technology)10+ years related experienceExperience in Learning platforms like SABA, Cornerstone, SuccessFactorsMinimum additional 3 years of experience supporting GxP (GMP, GLP, GCP) computerized systemsProject management skills including scope definition, risk assessment, estimating, and reporting; ability to prioritize and complete tasks; strong time management skillsGood people management skillsFull understanding of standard processes for regulated and validated (GxP) systemsExcellent time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize effectivelyStrong analytical skills with the ability to create viable solutions and implement flawlesslyStrong oral and written communication skillsCustomer focus and organizational awarenessExperience in resource/customer managementAbility to manage strict timelines, issues & ensure quality of workProficient in partnering with customers/team members from different levels of multiple teams who are geographically dispersedDesirable Skills/ExperienceAbility to apply structured problem solvingExperience in the Pharma industryProficient in communicating organizational policies and proceduresExperience in Change Control, incident response, and release managementAbility to set vision and drive tactical executionImpactful customer engagement experience across multiple regionsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; advanced PowerPoint user (visuals, graphics), Advanced ExcelWillingness to accommodate different time zonesTeam skills including the ability to establish effective working relationships within the organizationSolid understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industryKnowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles
