Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Credit Risk Analytics
In this role, you will support the design of new processes, implementation plans and/or change management plans as appropriate to ensure process impacts and opportunities are effectively interpreted and incorporated. The job also entails audit, governance and compliance support including but not limited to executing, creating/updating, and maintaining process flows and audit processes for SOX controls.
Responsibilities
Update audits pull lists with progress updates and dependencies
Support in reviewing audit evidence prior to submission to audit to ensure compliance
Create/update process flow diagrams and identify/update SOX controls, where applicable
Create/maintain business/operational process flows for non-SOX processes
Support preparation of monthly leadership material to report status, issues, and risks
Support in preparing sub-attestations for the quarterly SOX attestation process
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Experience in change and/or program management in banking
Experience in an audit role including expertise in reviewing controls either under Canadian GAAP or SOX
In-depth expertise and experience in designing process maps and controls
Advanced tolerance for change, ability to manage diversity, setbacks, and ambiguity
Knowledge of credit risk management or experience in a governance function is a plus
Experience in JIRA and Confluence
Proficiency in documentation
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Superior interpersonal and communication skills; articulate coherent complex concepts or arguments with clarity, including strong presentation preparation skills
Change management skills, including identifying the implications to users of new changes and designing the methods and processes that assist individuals in adjusting constructively to these changes as they occur
Superior project management skills
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to manage change and cope with complex and ambiguous situations independently
PMP accreditation is an asset
Experience with/exposure to PCAOB audits is a plus
