The purpose of this role is to assist the analytical department with method development and validation activities.


Responsibilities

Capable of developing new test methods and providing analytical support in alignment with the line manager’s direction and business needs. Proficient in method development and validation of finished goods (FG), raw materials (RM), in-process controls (IPC), and intermediates for APIs/excipients using GC, GC-HS, HPLC, and UV instruments, prioritizing business requirements. Well-versed in various analytical techniques, data interpretation, method technology transfer activities, and preparing necessary documentation for filings related to cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. Ensure seamless handover of work results in collaboration with line managers to the receiving unit, in accordance with project agreements. Facilitate all interdepartmental and intradepartmental communications, and collaborate with stakeholders from R&D, Pilot Plant, Production, and QA/QC on analytical activities related to projects. Prepare and assist in the creation of documentation for internal and external audits, including those related to safety, quality, and other compliance areas. Address regulatory inquiries and resolve deficiencies related to analytical methods and data. Oversee daily laboratory activities, identifying and addressing any gaps in compliance with GLP and ESHA guidelines.
 

Requirements

Master’s degree in Analytical or Organic Chemistry is required. The candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in method development within the pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in analytical method development, technology transfer, and validation is essential. Experience in Analytical R&D and wet analysis is also required.
