We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager Counterparty Credit Risk

Principal responsibilities

Assist in evaluating the creditworthiness of counterparties, including banks, financial institutions, corporates, and other entities.Support in performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of counterparty financials and risk profiles.Monitor counterparty credit exposure limits under the guidance of senior team members.Assist in analyzing the potential impact of market events on counterparty exposures.Collaborate with front office, legal, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to credit risk policies.Prepare initial drafts of credit risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.Maintain accurate records of counterparty risk assessments and exposures.Provide support in presenting insights and recommendations to improve the firm’s counterparty credit risk management framework.Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including Basel III/IV, Dodd-Frank, and other applicable regulations.Participate in the development and implementation of new risk management systems and methodologies under senior supervision.

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in counterparty credit risk, credit analysis, or a related role within the financial services industry is preferred.Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Basic proficiency in risk assessment tools and software, such as Excel, VBA, Python, or specialized risk management systems.Good communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Understanding of financial markets, credit risk metrics, and regulatory requirements is a plus.Familiarity with credit rating methodologies and credit risk models is advantageous.
