We are looking for someone with: 

Accounting qualification

Good stakeholder management experience

Strong communication skills and good written English

Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Working experience of at least 4 years Insurance industry with regulatory reporting experience

Familiar with regulatory reporting requirements under MFRS4 basis.

 

Nice to Haves: 

Working experience within the life insurance industry (either commercial or audit experience)

Good analytical skills

Experience in automation of working file

Good with macro, or has experience with Power BI

On the job you will be:-

Supporting the monthly, semi-annual, annual regulatory submission ie Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”) returns

Supporting the drafting of Investment Linked Financial Statements at Year End

Liase and support External Auditor to ensure completion of Year End BNM and Investment Linked audit and timely submission to relevant regulators/authority;

Support the submission of certain financial metrics/information to LIAM;

To be involved in analysis of balances;

Other ad-hoc or enhancement projects within the team
