Fund Accounting Assistant Manager

Remote-United States Based

Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Candidates for this position must be eligible to work without sponsorship in the United States. Time on-site or time zone may be necessary based on business need.

Some of the things you will be doing:

The Assistant Manager candidate will manage multiple client relationships ensuring superior client service with their client service team members. 

Deliverables include fund administration services provided to private equity funds such as:

Review accounting records, schedules, and reports Prepare accounting records, schedules, and reports as needed. Review checks and wires Review form 1099 Coordinate deliverables with client and internal teams Career development and talent management of staff Daily client and team member interaction Career development, supervision, and training of staff Ensure that best practices are used by fund accounting team and look for process improvements  Assist with special projects as needed Internal responsibilities (filing, status reports, time tracking, etc.)

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

BS Degree in Accounting required - CPA or CPA candidate a plus  Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting is required Working knowledge of US GAAP Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges)  Investran experience a plus Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines Experience delegating, training, and supervising staff Experience managing client relationships Professional verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
