Reports to: Global Trade Partnerships Manager
You will be part of a high-performing team focused on driving global trade partnerships and using data-driven insights to optimize business outcomes.
As an Assistant Manager Global Trade Partnerships, you will deliver and surpass global trade targets by strategically leveraging data analytics and building strong partnerships with travel management and online travel agencies. You will develop and implement global strategies, negotiate and manage relationships with key partners, and oversee global accounts.
You will gain experience in designing impactful global strategies, managing complex partnerships, and driving trade excellence while positioning yourself as a key contributor to business growth.
Drive revenue generation by acquiring and managing high-value trade partners and leveraging data insights to meet and exceed targetsNegotiate contracts with partners, setting ambitious revenue goals and implementing initiatives to capture incremental revenue through campaigns and new business opportunitiesIdentify market opportunities within trade segments and develop strategies to maximize potential revenueBuild and maintain strong relationships with global and local trade partners, focusing on engagement, retention, and growth of revenue from existing accountsConduct regular performance reviews, sales visits, and presentations to enhance partner engagement and sales opportunitiesContribute to the development of network and global sales policies to optimize revenue generation and minimize revenue lossUtilize data-driven insights to improve sales strategies, monitor performance, and ensure effective use of incentive and discount schemesPromote the adoption of technology and tools to enhance efficiency, communication, and customer experienceCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and execute sales action plans and resolve operational or partner-related issuesMentor and support team members by fostering professional growth, enhancing collaboration, and aligning contributions with departmental goalsRequirements
Tertiary education in sales, marketing, or a related field5-7 years of commercial or sales experience, including 3 years in people managementProven track record in global account management with strong target achievement historyStrong understanding of local and global economic trends and business practicesDemonstrable skills in negotiation, change management, and relationship buildingExperience leading and motivating target-driven teams to successAbility to work effectively across cultures, departments, and external partnershipsProficiency in using data and sales tools such as Excel; experience with advanced tools is an advantageExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Cantonese or Mandarin is beneficialAbility to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlinesPersonal & Application Information
