Assistant Manager of Hotel Audit provides full assistance to the Hotel Audit Manager to ensure the operational and administrative policies set forth by the company and department are followed, including daily audit functions as needed, actively involves in the monthly entries and account reconciliations of the non-gaming operation monthly revenue reporting, works closely with staff and operational departments to resolve exception finding in the audit process.
Primary Responsibility• Monitor, review, and enhance the revenue audit process for all non-gaming revenue outlet. Proactively communicate any audit exceptions to management and continuously improve processes to drive efficiency within Finance Shared Services and its business partners.
• Provide supervision to members of the Hotel Audit team, overseeing their daily audit tasks, and coordinating monthly work schedules for the team.
• Foster the growth and development of team members through mentoring, coaching, and delivering timely performance feedback.
• Contribute to the timely completion of month-end reporting requirements by conducting account reconciliations, making daily and monthly journal entry adjustments, and assisting with the provision of schedules to external and internal audit teams to ensure accurate and punctual issuance of statutory financial statements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Assist the Manager in governing the correct mapping of transactions across various systems.
• Degree in Accounting preferred, or Finance, Business Admin or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in accounting and/or Shared Services environment.
• Minimum 2 years experience of supervisory responsibility of subordinate staff.
• Strong people management skills.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal in Chinese and English.
• Good working knowledge of advance Microsoft Excel, formulas, lookups, pivots tables.
• Proficient in the following systems: PMS Opera, POS, and accounting systems.
