Assistant Manager - Housekeeping (Raffles)
Position Summary

He/she will conduct regular inspections of guest floors to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to service standards. In addition, he/she will assist the Operations Manager – Guest Floors in training and supervising floor supervisors and attendants, providing guidance to maintain operational excellence. He/she will also be responsible for promptly reporting any irregularities or issues to the Operations Manager – Guest Floors for immediate resolution.

Primary Responsibility Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform appearance. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Supervise and assign duties to floor attendants and supervisors; manage keys and work schedules. Conduct regular inspections to uphold hotel cleanliness standards. Monitor and maintain housekeeping equipment in excellent condition. Oversee inventory and control of supplies; assist with general stocktaking. Implement and support on-the-job training programs. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Promote courteous, professional behavior among staff when interacting with guests and colleagues. Facilitate communication within the department and with other hotel teams. Support cost control and payroll processes. Manage lost property system effectively. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements Good knowledge on housekeeping operation. General knowledge of cleaning equipments and cleaning technique. Proven management and leadership skill. With at least 5 year of Hotel’s Housekeeping experience in supervisory role. Pleasant, Strong drives to achieve targets. Good Communication Skill
