In this role, one needs to have good understanding of Payroll.

Responsibilities

Address all payroll garnishments (withholding) types Tax department is responsible for payroll tax returns

Presence needed In the USA to deal with physical mail documents needing notary (previously had contract with a Michigan company to allow for electronic but that didn't pan out).

Garnishments - tax levies, child support orders, court ordered deductions and student loans

Training to stay current on legislation

Collection of fees permitted by garnishment type (pays for 3 employees)

2nd level handling of employee questions

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

BCom Graduate

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Good Communication – Both written and Verbal
