Job Purpose 

The position of Warehouse Manager has management responsibility for the warehouse ,palletizing  and internal logistic operation which equal to €70 million materials, also managing Unilever employees and coordination with 3P. The position is also responsible for allocating all resources, including equipment, facilities, and employees, as well as acting as the local point for communication between Planning team and Suppliers. The Warehouse Manager establishes and maintains efficient and cost-effective warehouse teams to ensure material delivery on time, sufficient capacity with 100% stock accuracy to support the production and cold storage team. 

Main Responsibilities 

Decision making directly impacts consumer safety and quality of UL products in the marketplace with implications on UL reputation and brand equity. Is a key role in mitigation and management of UL Corporate Operational Risk (Design and production of products that meet our environmental, consumer safety and quality standards).  

Coordinate start from incoming, storage and distribution materials in a timely and effective and efficient manner  

Maintain a focus on continuous improvement to a world class standard of warehouse operations through developing, reviewing and updating warehouse procedures and associated business procedures. 

Ensure the timely delivery of regular reports through the various reporting systems, such as stock on hand, incoming material, stock-in-transit, reservation transaction, goods income/goods receipt (GI/GR) both material and finished goods, and warehouse occupancy. 

Deliver the most productive outcomes through the effective utilisation of warehouse 

Develops and maintains relationships and contracts with 3P to enable objectives to be achieved 

Cost monitoring based on agreed monthly budget as per forecast, such as overtime and 3P cost 

Effectively utilises equipment and facilities to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective operation 

Regular 3P contract review semesterly together with Procurement team 

Ensure adequate levels of appropriately trained employees are available to effectively maintain the performance 

Anticipate and satisfactorily resolves all problems and issues with the day-to-day operations by having a flexibility on 3P warehouse. 

Ensure effective communication between planning, quality, production, engineering and suppliers. 

Ensure all appropriate actions are taken to implement the Occupational Health and Safety Policy, health an safety procedures and legislative requirements 

Monitor, supervise, execute the action plans of the health and safety through formal participation in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control Planning, workplace inspections, pre-purchase evaluations etc and informally through work site visits and discussions with staff 

Review all accidents/incidents and corrective action reports 

Ensure safety is an agenda item for all meetings, such as safety moment. 

Allocate adequate time and resources for the Health and Safety program to be established 

Ensure all of license to operate/MHE driving license always valid before they operate the MHE 

Ensure driver MHE have a refreshed training at least once a year 

Additional responsibilities: 

Execute and support any projects related to warehouse and palletizing 

Maintain safety and quality culture in warehouse and palletizing area 

 

Candidate Criteria 

Experience & Qualification 

University degree in technical discipline or general sciences 

Preference background Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Food Technology 

1 - 3 years experience in Production or Manufacturing  

 

Skill 

Manufacturing experience, familiar with SAP system and WMS Excellent command of English language (oral and written).
