Responsible for delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies and business prioritiesLead legal function with a view to safeguard the organizational interest in various forums, tribunals and courtsWork closely with external counsels and solicitor firmsRender legal opinion/advice and manage all mattersHandle all types of disputes including arbitration, property disputes, commercial disputes, recovery actions by engagement of Counsels & briefing themResearch and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operationsConduct/strategize adjudication, arbitration, conciliation, legal cases in courts/tribunals and various statutory authoritiesEffectively manage litigation and partner with business goalsSpecify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance of ongoing projectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems, build partnerships, and close projectsDraft and vet MoUs, LoIs, contracts/agreements, pleadings, affidavits, and other legal documentsSupport Company’s internal business and procurement team to oversee structuring of commercial transactions and drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreementsIdentify potential issues related to data, privacy, and intellectual property for referral to, and collaboration with, internal subject matter experts / Management
