Assistant Manager (Limousine Services)
Position Summary Manage the day to day guest limousine services area. Supervise a team of Supervisor, Dispatcher and Driver of Limousine Services who will perform this function. Ensure associates perform all transportation activities to required standards, including maintaining the Company vehicles in excellent condition. Exceed guest expectations when special requests and requirements arises, ensuring their safety and welfare are of top priority whenever possible.Primary Responsibility -Roster drivers according to anticipated demand schedule and assign Team Members’ breaks. -Regularly inspect vehicle reports for maintenance and act upon promptly, including but not limited to undue wear to tires; low tire pressure, unusual vehicle engine noise, low water, oil or break fluid. -Co-ordinate vehicle repairs, cleaning and refueling. -Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, inside and out, ensuring that drivers rectify any deficiencies. -Maintain log of fuel consumption and refilling of vehicles. -Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. -Ensure associates knowledge of hotel services, vehicle features and amenities set up. -Anticipate guest’s needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day. -Document and report all vehicle accidents (i.e. damages, accidents). -Resolve Guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. -Conduct department orientation with new hires as well as conduct training programs on the required job functions in order to meet required standards. Conduct ongoing training with existing associates. -Conduct daily shift briefings and communicate anticipated business demands daily with each associate (VIP arrivals/departures, special requests etc.). -Prepare work orders for equipment repairs and distribute to Engineering. -Prepare and submit payroll records and tips distribution as/when required. -Document pertinent information in the log book. -Conduct performance appraisals of designated associate annually. -Review status of assignments and any follow-up action with on-coming Assistant Manager. -Maintain close liaison with all the departments to have a good understanding of other departments’ operational flows. -Perform the duties as a licensed driver when required to do so. -Take extreme care of the property of Guest and the Company. -Maintain positive guest relations. -Coordinate and direct associate on parking activities and assign specific tasks as they arise according to the rotation sequence. -Evaluate the staffing requirements and prepare work schedules weekly. -Respect traffic / road instructions and regulations including speed limits. -Regularly check mileage records for every trip. -Maintain secure and accurate record of all vehicle keys and vehicle locations. -Re-route traffic when parking facility reaches maximum capacity. -Monitor and ensure associate perform their job functions. -Never argue with Guests or let other associate argue with Guests. -Complete other assignments as directed by the Manager of limousine.Requirements -Tertiary Education or equivalent experienced preferred. -Previous Fleet management experience in Hospitality industry. -knowledge of transport and logistics solutions that meet the demands of a five star Casino and Hotel. -Motivates others to achieve business objectives and common goals. -Able to handle stress. -experience with computers or word processors. -Previous Guest Relations training. -Fluent English and Cantonese, spoken and written. -Maintain good inter-departmental relationships. -work any day of the week and any shift. -Have a well groomed, professional appearance.
