SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Under the direction and supervision of the Account Services Manager, provide information and customer service concerning the credit union and its products and services to employees, credit union members and prospective members, while ensuring the highest quality of member service.  Enforce strict adherence to established policies and procedures by all.  Have the ability to assist in training employees and be able to explain products’ and/or services and their values, benefits, features, rates and fees to members, while maintaining the highest quality of member service.

Ensure the Member Services team represents the credit union in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.  Gives prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of all transactions. Stays current with credit union membership requirements, deposit products, services, loan products, and marketing campaigns.

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Supervisory Responsibilities: 
Assist the Member Services Manager in all aspects and function of supervising the Member Services Employees and perform all the managing duties in the absence of the manager.

Process various types of Member requests and serve membership by providing excellent service and information in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner via telephone, email or other correspondence. Research and resolve routine member questions, problems, and complaints concerning credit union accounts and effectively act on member requests or refer appropriately. Monitor required weekly/monthly reports and resolve issues with them. Order supplies. Understand and be accountable for executing all job functions in a way that is consistent with all requirements of BSA, OFAC and the USA Patriot Act/customer identification Act (CIP). Assist in cross training member service representatives. Aide the manager in some day-to-day decisions. Other duties as assigned. Competencies:

Experience, Skills and Other Requirements: Must possess strong basic math skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Must demonstrate an ability to understand and implement changing policies and procedures. Exceptional oral and written communication skills required. Must possess interpersonal skills including courtesy, tact, and diplomacy as they are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, as well as use of internet and e-mail. Must be familiar with home banking and bill paying services.
