Assistant Manager- OFFL/NE Visual Lab

POSITION TITLE:  Assistant Manager- OFFL/NE Visual Lab

REPORTS TO:  General Manager- Visual Labs

SUPERVISES:  OFFL/NE Lab Lead- Creative & OFFL/NE Lab Lead Production

GRADE:  2

 

PURPOSE:

Responsible for assisting Lab Management in all operational aspects of the OFFL/NE visual lab store, inventory control, personnel acquisition, and employee development along with supporting the Visual Merchandising team in the build of seasonal floorsets and the presentation of OFFL/NE brand standards.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead a team according to AEO’s values Maximize the teams efficiency by motivating them to reach targeted goals Manage workflow across all OFFL/NE visual labs Develop a strong understanding of the OFFL/NE lab store calendar Assist the General Manager in weekly scheduling and payroll tasks Coach and develop the Leads and Part-Time Associates on operational, visual, and marketing standards Oversee the visual labs; physical location while maintaining all operational and loss prevention standards Supervise extraction receipts and transfer of seasonal product within the lab store stockrooms Monitor all samples that circulate throughout the visual labs Support Visual Merchandising & Production teams in the seasonal floorset signoff process Drive execution of seasonal floorset builds in the Offline design Possess strong understand of seasonal assortments thru edit sheet and sample handoff process Collaborate with visual production on all photography, write-ups and PPG’s Execute matterport scans with each seasonal floorset signoff Review all seasonal floorset documentation for accuracy Support OFFL/NE Flagship and Pop Up events as needed Perform other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 year degree - in Business, Marketing, or Fashion related field preferred 2+ years retail store management experience or equivalent preferred Proficient in Mac, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Suite Confident, articulate and professional speaking abilities Collaborative mindset, with ability to work well independently or within a team Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment Self-motivated with critical attention to detail Strong prioritization, organization and problem-solving skills Ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals at multiple levels within the business Daily onsite work required; This is a non-remote position
