Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. Roles and Responsibilities
+ Manage customer fulfilment of order. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
+ support in data analysis that will enable fulfilment of parts, identify reason for gap & support RCA & deep dive.
+ Enable shipping team to meet the daily shipping target as well as have a focus on critical shipment parts, monitoring of shipment in transit & coordinate with receiving dock manager to ensure parts reach on time
+ Close coordination with quality team on final shipment loading as well as ensure correct shipping procedures are followed
+ Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
+ Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
+ Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
+ Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.
Required Qualifications
+ This role requires mid-level experience in the Production, Planning & Execution function.
+ Candidate should have 4-5 years of experience in Aerospace Industry with bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
