Assistant Manager - Ordering 

 

POSITION PURPOSE:
Team Leader in Procurement Operations will be responsible for managing the team responsible for processing Purchase Requisitions. Your role will involve managing escalations, process improvements, employee recognitions, engagements & developments long with control on attrition. Should have strong communication skills, decision making, be accountable and responsible in managing tasks along with good exposure in procurement process.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•    Oversee the creation, approval, and maintenance of purchase orders (end to end PR to PO Process)
•    Manage queries from business users and address order requests within the agreed SLA.
•    Ability to manage the transitions, knowledge transfer & hypercare.
•    Understand and manage the Procure to Pay cycle.
•    Liaise with AP teams, business users, and country partners to resolve issues.
•    Prepare monthly metric reports and internal dashboards.
•    Track and analyse volume trends and performance indicators to create action plans for improvement.
•    Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate the completion of audit requirements.
•    Ensure compliance with organizational standards and procedures.
•    Focus on user experience feedback and perform root cause analysis checks to improve accuracy standards.
•    Participate and lead organizational initiatives to enhance service delivery.
•    Collaborate with other functions/teams to address service delivery gaps.
•    Execute, explore, and learn in rapid 90-day cycles.
•    Inspire team members to achieve their best and set clear goals.
•    Oversee day-to-day operations and monitor team performance
•    Develop, coach, provide constructive and timely feedback to improve performance. foster growth.
•    Create psychologically safe environment, foster a culture of creative and risk-taking environment.
•    Demonstrate excellent people management skills to maintain a high-performing team.
•    Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion in attracting talent.
•    Support the integration of various teams to achieve the Source to Pay (S2P) vision of Easy Buy/Easy Pay.
•    Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

 

WHO YOU ARE:
•    University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or comparable professional education 
•    At least 10 years of professional experience including at least 5+ years of people management
•    Experience within Shared Services Industry in Managing Team size of 15+ FTEs 
•    Ability to manage, coach & develop
•    Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills, Self-motivated
•    Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver under high pressure
•    Flexible to support Global Operations/Stakeholders in different time zones
•    Prior knowledge of implementation digital tools will be an added advantage
•    Excellent Office 365 skills, SAP ERP
