Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager Parts Warehouse will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations, with focus on safety and inventory accuracy. This role includes conducting regular safety trainings for storekeepers to ensure compliance and safe practices across all material handling and storage processes.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Coordinate all warehouse & logistics activities including receiving, storage/locating, picking, kitting, packing until handover of shipments to freight forwarders Assign daily work priorities to ensure efficient workflow and efficiency. Ensure the implementation of warehouse digitalization initiatives Facilitate onboarding and continuous training for team members, focusing on safe equipment handling, process compliance, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct daily Toolbox talks and safety training sessions in collaboration with HSE, ensuring that safety remains a top priority across all warehouse operations Coordinate with purchasing, quality, planning, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in annual audits as required to maintain accurate inventory levels. Apply 5S and lean principles throughout operations, maintain standard processes in safety, efficiency, and space utilization. Request replenishment and ensure regular maintenance and calibration of warehouse equipment and critical metrics for core warehouse activities and take action to ensure targets are met. Communicate inbound shipment discrepancies to purchasing & ensure quick corrective action is taken Work with purchasing to handle scrap decisions for non-compliant items, and conduct quarterly scrapping as approved by finance. Ensure all activities implement to Emerson Trade Compliance policies and standard methodologies. Capable & handle on various transporter for smooth transport of material. Capable to coordinate with accounts for generating invoice. Knowledge on GST documentation.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree experience in logistics, supply chain/warehouse management, business administration Related field experience with a shown ability in warehouse management Hands on working experience on Oracle ERP Having the ability to drive all people for the same goal.
