Assistant Manager - Production
Position Summary

Responsible to supervise and execute smooth operations of the Entertainment daily programs, execution, planning both internal & external events for Galaxy Entertainment Group.

Primary Responsibility

• Work closely with Entertainment Production team to propose the Entertainment initiatives and development of Entertainment programs across GEG.
• Provide support in sourcing and development of Entertainment programs suitable for the Group.
• Ensure the standard of the Entertainment quality will maintain high standards in GEG and seek out ways to improve current programs by reviewing & taking actions thereafter.
• Trending of the current innovative Entertainment style and ensure that the programs within GEG are competitive & unique.
• Briefing of new entertainers regarding the in house rule & regulation and company policy.
• Work closely with all parties across the company to ensure control and success of all programs.
• Supervise on Entertainment programs, performers, seasonal promotions and special events within varies locations of GEG.
• Assist to provide ongoing training for entertainers & staff to maintain high performance standard.
• To be involved in scheduling to ensure all items are fully utilized and achieving cost effectiveness.
• Manage the logistic needs of performance are done in a cost effective manner while providing the performers a reasonable comfortable working environment.
• Provide a professional managing skill and ensure the smooth operation of all the Entertainment programs.
• Maintain a professional, teamwork and friendly approach in dealing with internal and external people.
• Liaise effectively with other departments on behalf of the divisions to convey and source required information.
• Ensure confidentiality of restricted or sensitive information
• Perform any other duties as required.

Requirements

Experience 
• Over 4-5 years experience of managing performance venue or Entertainment business 

Education 
• A degree/diploma preferably in one of the following subjects:
   Arts management; Arts administration;  Drama / theatre studies; Creative/performing arts; 

Skills/ Competencies 
• Extensive knowledge of show production, choreography, image design and stage production, 
• People oriented with good social skills.
• Creative and innovative.
• Have excellent leadership capabilities and charisma; skills to influence, inspire, and motivate key stakeholders and employees around a single vision. 
• Work collaboratively and communicate with senior management team.
• Have Strong financial acumen and bottom-line orientation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment. 
• Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude, and the ability to deal effectively with management, performers, employees and contractors while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in both written and speaking English, Cantonese and Mandarin preferred.
• Willing to work on any day and any shift.
• Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
• Have a well groomed, professional appearance.
