Assistant Manager Sales

Job Summary:

If you are looking for an opportunity to grow as Sales Engineer in the field of Instrumentation, Emerson has this excellent role for you! The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing the Customer Base in assigned geographical area for the sales of instrumentation products to customers. The job scope includes focus on achieving Key Result Area (KRA).

 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Responsible for achieving the sales target from the assigned customer base, develop new customer in the assigned area, develop strong and exciting relationship with internal and external customers. Access and interpreting the technical challenges' customer trying to achieve or overcome and aligning customers need with company products and applications and marketing efforts. Able to Communicate effectively with customers technical, commercial and operational person. Able to identify the current and future customer requirement. Gain customer acceptance by demonstrating the differentiation of our products and solution that with competition. Ability to negotiate prices and commercial terms and condition to meet both companies and customer requirement. Actively and timely participation to accomplishing tender bidding requirement by interpreting tender requirement technically, commercially and statuary. Responsible interpreting technical specification, timely submission of offers, follow up with customers, solving techno-commercial queries, negotiation and closing of order and correct forecasting of sales booking. Responsible for post order activities like timely order processing, facilitating dispatch clearances from customer and facilitating total collection of outstanding. Create an opportunity ID and Regularly update status opportunities in the CRM and qualify the assigned digital lead and convert that into opportunity to order. Timely, forecasting the monthly sales booking through CRM. Upselling to existing customer base and develop new accounts and relationship building with customers. Responsible to drive the Business Unit Initiatives in the sales accounts.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Degree in Engineering with more than 5-10 years of experience as Sale Engineer in the field of industrial product and solution, preferably from process control instrumentation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong project persuasion and able to identify Gate Keeper, Decision Maker and Doer for project opportunities in sales account. project management skills with excellent communication skills including presentation and negotiation. Knowledge of complete sales process in the diverse industrial segment. Strong ability to work towards results and committed in a highly matrixed organization will be key point for considerations.
 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
