Monitor and guide Security Supervisors and Officers in their duties, ensuring effective deployment and coverage across all hotel areas.
Oversee regular patrols of public areas, guest floors, back-of-house, restaurants, plant rooms, and offices.
Ensure security personnel are vigilant in identifying suspicious persons, objects, unsafe conditions, and malfunctioning safety equipment.
Direct and support emergency response efforts, including fire safety, evacuations, medical incidents, and crisis situations.
Lead and conduct investigations into accidents, incidents, and breaches of security, preparing reports for management.
Ensure compliance with access control procedures, bag checks, and employee entry/exit monitoring.
Maintain coordination with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Administrative ResponsibilitiesMaintain updated records of all incidents, investigations, and security activities in reports and logbooks.
Monitor inventory of security equipment and ensure proper maintenance and readiness.
Assist in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.

People Management TrainingLead, motivate, and develop the security team, ensuring professionalism, punctuality, grooming, and adherence to hotel standards.
Assist in designing and conducting in-house training on security awareness, emergency procedures, and fire prevention in collaboration with the Training Department and Director of Engineering.
Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and ensure alignment with Hyatt’s Values, Culture, and The People Philosophy.
Foster strong interdepartmental collaboration to support smooth hotel operations and guest safety.
Other DutiesStay updated on legal requirements, local regulations, and industry best practices relating to safety and security.
Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, management briefings, and training sessions.
Be thoroughly familiar with hotel layout, fire detection and fighting systems, evacuation procedures, and emergency protocols.
Represent the Security Department professionally within the hotel and with external stakeholders.

Strong knowledge of security management, fire safety systems, crisis handling, and emergency procedures.
Demonstrated leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Strong investigative, reporting, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with discretion, tact, and professionalism.
Certification in First Aid, Fire Fighting, or Safety Security management is a plus.
Able to perform active security duties when required.
