Assistant Manager - Security

Summary

Assist Manager – Security in the preparation and daily operation.

Supports to conduct regular communications meetings and ensures that departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.

Compiles and records data for Security Control.

Supervises operational procedures for activities such as fire prevention and fire fighting, traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, orienting and monitoring of personnel involved with classified information, and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.

Cooperates with theEngineering Department and Learning Manager an effective in-house training course on Security and Fire Prevention

Maximizes associate productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests

Handles investigation and reports all claims regarding thefts, accidents, injury, property damage, vandalism and trespassing from guests, visitors or hotel personnel with the assistance of local police if necessary.

Monitors and controls the movement of all associates leaving and entering the hotel through the associate entrance.

Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.

Qualifications

Ideally with a professional diploma or certificate in Safety and Security. Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Manager - Security, or Team Leader Security in larger operation. Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills are a must.
