Job Description:

Work Responsibilities:  Subject Matter Expert

Responsible for Tax accountingResponsible for Tax strategy/ planningPreparation of Tax returns, tax provisionsThorough understanding of financial statements and group company transactionsEnsuring Ledger scrutinyReconciliation of Tax accounts/ Tax creditsProviding updates to executives/ leadersResponsible for calculation of Tax liability paymentsAssistance in filing of replies to various notices issued by the Tax authorities.Tax related Documentation, maintain organized and up-to-date records of Tax transactions.Ensuring the books of accounts are updated and reconciled as per statutory returns.Assistance in auditsEnhancement of control environmentKey risks identification, prioritisation, monitoring and remediationContribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together.Assistance in process improvement, automation etc.Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situation.

Adhoc Tasks

Should be able to manage adhoc requests in timely manner.

Experience

In-depth knowledge of above-mentioned responsibilitiesPreferred- Chartered Accountant with 5-8 years of working experience in Tax functionPractical experience of working in TaxExperience in International Taxation is preferred.

Skills

Excellent collaboration skillsAbility to work in high pressure situations.Good communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel, working experience in SAP / Oracle Financials or any other ERP.
