NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Assistant Managing Partner, Operations of San Jacinto Memorial Park and Cemetery in Houston, Texas The Assistant Managing Partner, Operations, will work collaboratively with the Managing Partner, Sales and responsible for directing and leading San Jacinto's operations for an assigned area or individual unit, by hiring, training, and motivating staff to assure delivery of service is above and beyond client expectations.

Responsibilities

Inspects and ensures that the facility is being maintained and assists in maintenance where required. Leads and develops a cooperative team environment that is respectful, communicative, accountable, service-oriented, and transparent. Evaluates drivers of growth, improvement, and efficiencies to identify and implement new initiatives. Grows top-line revenue, expands case volume, improves market share, and develops an excellent customer experience. Conducts regular reviews with Sales Manager or appropriate business partner to discuss inventory, products, available cemetery property, and projects to ensure goals for location are communicated and properly aligned. Leads by example and demonstrates knowledge of successful marketing and community involvement techniques. Research opportunities for the company to sponsor events, such as sports tournaments, chamber meetings, church events and any other charitable events.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. 3+ years of experience in the funeral and cemetery profession with an understanding of both sales and operations management. 3+ years of experience in a supervisory, leadership, or managerial role. Working proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point)
