This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Global Technical Center three times per week, at minimum.
The primary purpose is to drive adoption of Super Cruise with our current and potential OnStar customers. Job responsibilities include being the marketing lead for the product, product roadmap, customer, competition, and the segment dynamics. You will work with demand spaces, identify market trends, create appropriate packaging and prepare for the next generation of technology while working cross-functionally to support the business objectives. This position reports to the OnStar Marketing Manager.
Develop product messaging, collaborate with cross-functional teams on product roadmaps, positioning, claims and looking at the competitive landscape for Super CruiseLeverage marketing information, segment trends and competitive facing material to uncover key consumer insights, and competitive opportunitiesEnsure all consumer communications, dealer communications, press releases, playbook, dealer order guides, etc. are messaged effectively and include correct product informationCollaborate with Centers of Expertise (Media, Site, Social, CRM, Sales, Product, CX, UX, and Finance) to further refine strategies and plansInterface with the research community to develop and leverage insights for current and future product with leadership reporting for awareness and strategic decision makingParticipate in trade-off decisions/conflict resolution between Centers of Expertise (Brands, Product, Finance, Nameplates) Develop messaging based on critical product attributes and market trends to provide foundation for consumer, dealer, wholesale, and media messagesLeverage strong Data & Analytical skills to develop recommendations and POVs for current and future vehicle product, in collaboration with marketing and data analytics teamsImplement innovative strategies to elevate the customer experience, to achieve brand goalsProvide product intel that will help influence creative work in terms of scope, key messages, and customer target; all within the context of OnStar positioningSupport product fundamentals such as naming, positioning, messaging guidelines, and other foundational materials for existing, enhanced, and new products (<1 year away)Support Global integration for connectivity products as they expandAdditional Job DescriptionRequirements:
